Anti-Inflammatory Pumpkin Spice Latte with Turmeric


Well folks, it’s that time of year - Pumpkin Spice Latte (aka PSL) time! I wanted to put this recipe together to show all those seasonal latte lovers that there is a healthier way when it comes to this time of year when choosing your morning beverage. I’ve created a homemade, super nourishing recipe that will have you making PSLs every day this month!


Golden Pumpkin Spice Latte

Serves: 1
Time: 10 minutes

Here’s What You’ll Need
1 cup milk (I used Almond)
1-2 Medjool Dates, pitted (2 will make it rather sweet, so maybe 1.5 is good middle ground)
1 Tbsp Pumpkin Purée
1/2 tsp Stay Golden - Golden Milk Herbal Powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp ginger
Pinch of each allspice, clove, nutmeg
1/4 cup of espresso or coffee

Here’s What You’ll Do

  1. Over low-medium heat, warm up all the ingredients except the coffee. Allow that to get nice and hot, stirring constantly until just before simmering.

  2. Place the hot mixture in a blender and blend together for about 1 minute (a stick blender will work just as well). *Be careful not to burn yourself!!

  3. Pour the blended pumpkin mixture into your favorite mug, then top off with coffee and a dash of cinnamon. Find a nice place relax, take a deep breath and sip the pumpkin magic!
