Today we’re saying goodbye to Leo season and embracing the Virgo energy all
around us! We hope your Leo season was everything you needed and more (it definitely was for us!), and now it’s time to shift gears a bit. Virgo season is August 23rd to September 22nd, and it’s all about organization, analytical consideration, structure, health, and contribution. It really contrasts that playful, childlike Leo energy we’re coming out of! Here are some tips for making
the most out of this season.
It’s time to get those messy parts of life sorted out. Virgo thrives on practicality and productivity, so take some time to analyze your current life situations. What’s working? What have you been putting on the back burner? Where in your life is there room for greater structure and order? It might be tightening up your schedule, minimizing your wardrobe or cleaning out those junk drawers. It might even be putting boundaries up around toxic relationships that are distracting
you from achieving your greatest potential. This is the time to get serious about where you’re going in life and how you’re going to get there. If you don’t already use a daily planner, Virgo season is a great time to start!
Virgo is ruled by the 6th house, which is the house of health. Hopefully we’re always prioritizing our health in day to day life, but sometimes other things (work, family, etc.) take precedence, and understandably so. Life is busy and nobody is perfect. If you’ve fallen off the wellness wagon, Virgo season is the perfect time to get back on track. Recommit to your health now. Amp up your self care practices, stick to an exercise routine, eat more fresh veggies, hydrate your body, and try out our herbal supplements so you can show up as your best, most vibrant self this season.
Service is a huge component of Virgo. While it’s imperative that we focus on organizing our lives and prioritizing our own health, Virgo is really encouraging us to live in a way that serves the greater good of our community. In a big way, Virgo’s efforts toward wellness and self management are driven by the fact that when we feel our best, we can make a greater impact in the world. When we take care of ourselves, we can show up for others with presence, compassion, and support. So yes, work on your own stuff, but help other people work on theirs
too. Step up for a friend in need, volunteer at a shelter, write that e-book, or spend the whole afternoon totally focused on quality time with your kids. Service can look like so many different things. Show up and contribute however you can during this season.
We are more connected to the stars and planets than most of us realize. The more we align with the cycles of the earth and the themes that arise with them, the more harmony we’ll experience in our life. We aren’t separate from nature— we are nature. When we acknowledge that, we can flow effortlessly through the seasons with peace and patience. Life is good, and everything happens as it should, when it should.
